Useful Learning Links for your child |
Our theme this term is 'Meet the Flinstones' (The Stone Age)
It is about how people lived in Britain over 2000 years ago. |
So far, we have discovered that light can travel through transparent materials, but not opaque materials, and a little through translucent materials. We have learned about homo sapien and neanderthal humans in the Stone Age and how they built stone circles and hunted. |
(See below) |
Maths Curriculum
During this half term we will be covering the following aspects of Maths: column addition and column subtraction and fractions.
|
English Curriculum
Using our theme of "Persuasion", the children will be looking in on the features of Persuasive Writing, through letters, advertising, debate and reports.
|
Science The children are discovering the origins, uses and differences between various rocks and soils..
