Year 2

Our Ambassadors have been writing to a school in Guernsey. The Children were very excited to receive a reply

A big thankyou to Mr Embley. He has donated some pallets which we have recycled and made into seating for our kitchen garden.

Year 2 have been growing strawberries and vegetables with Mrs Broadfield. They will soon be ready to eat. Our strawberries just need a little sunshine now.

Year 2 were very excited to look around our new class kitchen. We are looking forward to cooking some delicious food.

Welcome to Year 2!

Snowy days.

Year 2 have been working really hard with online learning. They have been looking at there times tables in maths and the story of Anansi and the tiger in english.

It is great to see how hard they are working and to catch up with them on teams each day.

We are also currently practicing our song for PSHE 'This is me' as well as learning the sign for it.

This term in DT we have been exploring materials, designing and making a coat for the Antarctic explorer Captain Scott. We have been cutting materials and we have also learnt a new skill, sewing. We have had lots of fun!
