Our emotions can be difficult to explain or understand at times. Sometimes our bodies do things we wouldn't normally do, before we have time to think about whether we should do them. It is important to get to know our emotions and learn to control those difficult behaviours. Today we would like you to look at the faces and sort them into ‘happy’, ‘sad’ or ‘angry’ emotions. Then play the emotions game with someone a home. (see files below) |

Let’s spend a little more time exploring our emotions. Do you remember a few weeks ago we looked at the artist Wassily Kandinsky and how he often sees music in colour? Today we would like you to see if you can match different colours to how you feel. Draw a picture to show how you are feeling. Think about which colours represent this the best. Remember, if you don’t have colours at home, you could use an art program on the computer to do this. (see file below) |
