My name is Abi Fletcher and I have been a parent governor at Hawthorn primary school since 2019. I am very proud to be the co SEND governor as my passion lies in SEND. My background is in childcare having spent most of my life working with pre-school children.

I have 3 children currently in Hawthorn primary school and have experience of the hearing resource base having previously have a child access this.

I am currently pursuing training in becoming a British sign language interpreter and enjoy crafting and DIY in my spare time.

Hawthorn has always been an amazing support to my family, helping my children to thrive so I’m very happy to be able to support them through my role on the board.
