Rights Respecting Ambassadors Making a Difference in Our Community...
Our Rights Respecting Ambassadors regularly take part in litter-picking activities within the local community, demonstrating their commitment to protecting the environment and making a positive difference to the area in which they live. Through their hard work and dedication, the children help to keep local streets and public spaces clean, while promoting the importance of caring for our community and respecting the world around us.
The ambassadors are excellent role models, showing responsibility, teamwork and pride in their local area. Their efforts help pupils understand that everyone can play a part in creating a cleaner, safer and more welcoming environment for others.
This work links closely to Article 24, the right to a healthy environment and good health, and Article 29, which encourages children to develop respect for the natural environment. It also promotes the British Values of Mutual Respect and Individual Responsibility, as pupils take action to improve their community and encourage others to do the same.
As a special thank you for their continued hard work and community spirit, our wonderful local fish and chip shop kindly provides the children with a complimentary lunch. This generous gesture is always greatly appreciated by the ambassadors and highlights the strong partnership between our school and the local community. The children are incredibly proud of the positive impact they make and continue to be excellent advocates for children's rights and environmental responsibility.
