Year 2 Crazy Hair Day...
Year 2 had a fantastic time taking part in Crazy Hair Day, celebrating individuality, creativity and self-expression. Children arrived at school with a wide variety of imaginative hairstyles, proudly showcasing their unique ideas and personalities.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to celebrate what makes each person special while developing confidence and self-esteem. Throughout the day, children shared their creative designs with their classmates and enjoyed discussing the different hairstyles, demonstrating respect and appreciation for one another's individuality.
Crazy Hair Day linked closely to Article 13, the right to freedom of expression, as children were encouraged to express themselves creatively and share their ideas with others. It also supported Article 29, which states that education should help children develop their personalities, talents and abilities to their fullest potential.
