Nursery

Welcome to our Nursery...

Starting nursery is a major milestone for you and your child. As parents, you want your children to make the best possible start to school life. We all want the same thing – a happy, confident child who enjoys going to school and loves learning. By building an effective home/school partnership, we can all achieve this aim together.

You and your child will be supported by Mrs Allen, our class teacher, Ms Copper our HLTA and Mrs Haines, our Forest school leader.  Please view the 'Induction PowerPoint' presentation below for further information.

My name is Pip. I help your child to make good choices in Nursery and support learning each day.

Nursery looks a little different this September. We have been introduced to new rules and routines to keep us safe. Some of these new routines include regular hand washing. Parents please share the 'Get well soon' video with your child, like we have done in class to reinforce the importance of good hygiene.

What is Coronavirus?

Dr Ranj explains what Coronavirus is to Jobi. Join in with their song about washing your hands.

We are 'Hand Washing Hero's'... We have been learning how to 'Catch it, Bin it, Kill it' to keep the germs at bay! We are keeping each other safe.

Our favourite 'hand washing' song...

We have settled really well into our classroom environment...

We love the outdoors!

We have been thinking about what makes us unique? We have used mirror's to look at our faces, our eyes, our hair, skin tone and smile and we have created our very own self-portraits with paint!
