On Monday 2nd December we started our week of DEAR, this means Drop Everything And Read. During this the week, when the bell rings, we have to drop everything and start reading. The time that the bell rings is always a surprise and it has even rung in one of our maths lessons! It's not only the children that read but teachers also enjoy the joy and fun of reading at strange times too.
This is an opportunity for our school to have more time to read together as well as giving people with thicker books the chance to have more reading time. We only have one week of DEAR before it stops, so Drop Everything And Read while you can!
