We have been reading the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle. We have sequenced the story using the language 'first, then, next, and finally'. We have made artwork inspired by the illustrations by Eric Carle. We made fruit kebabs and explored taste and pattern. We explored the lifecycle of a caterpillar. We even got to meet Reception's caterpillars! We look forward to seeing them transform into butterflies!
