Today we were visited by Rupam Lal, from OpenView Education, to work with us on keeping ourselves safe online. We had such good fun and learnt lots of information about how to keep ourselves safe and what is ok to share. We are now Internet Safety Wizards!

Y2 enjoyed Number Day 2026 by learning their 2, 5 and 10 times times table facts. They participated in the BBC's Number Blocks live lessons and played games where they had to use their knowledge of these tables to create their own number day monster.
Here are some things to keep your brain working as you have to stay at home to do your learning today.
We had a visit from Urban Devotion to explore our feelings. We talked about how all feelings are normal, even those which we don't like. The children discuss strategies to help them with the difficult feelings.

As part of our DT and History topics, we took the children to visit the planes, and other vehicles, at RAF Cosford. The children were able to look at, and identify, wheels and axles in real life. They were also about to see how aircraft have changed over time, seeing those made from wood, metal or even specially treated fabrics.
Here's what your child will be learning about this half-term:
We are all ready for a new, exciting chapter in your children's lives as they begin their learning journey in Year 2.
Welcome to the Year 2 page. Please see below the class information booklet which was shared during our 'Meet The Teacher' sessions before the end of last term.
