To introduce our new History topic in Year 6 the children were invited into class where they had to crawl into their  shelter whilst the air raid siren was on. The children then sat in the shelter and listened to the actual broadcast from Neville Chamberlain to the British stating that they are now at war!!!. This activity allowed the children to try and think about how it felt as a British citizen in WW2.
