Pupil Ambassadors: Championing Children’s Rights Across Our School...

Our dedicated Pupil Ambassadors meet weekly, both during and after the school day, to discuss and promote the Rights of the Child across the school. During these meetings, the children regularly reflect on how our school upholds and protects children's rights and consider the positive impact that a rights-respecting approach has on our school community.

The ambassadors play an important role in ensuring that pupil voice is heard. They share ideas, discuss feedback from their peers and work collaboratively with staff to identify ways in which we can further embed the UNICEF Rights of the Child and British Values into the everyday life of the school.

Through these discussions, the children develop valuable leadership, communication and teamwork skills while helping to create a school environment where every child feels respected, valued, safe and included. Their enthusiasm and commitment continue to drive meaningful improvements and ensure that children's rights remain at the heart of decision-making throughout the school.
