This morning, Year 5 hosted and presented their class assembly on Black History Month.

As a class, we discussed why Black History Month is important and how many famous and determined people, tried to make the world a better place.

We discussed famous people from the past such as: Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Mary Seacole and how they left a legacy for us to follow.

We then identified modern famous black people, such as Jude Bellingham, who are also leaving a positive mark on the world.

Thank you for watching our assembly - the children really appreciated the support!
