Y4 Greek Pot Parent Workshop

Next week, Year 4 are looking forward to a special Ancient Greek pottery workshop! On Tuesday at 1:45pm, parents and carers are invited to join us as we create our own Greek clay pots. This exciting activity links our Art and History learning, helping us to understand how the Ancient Greeks used pottery to tell stories, celebrate events, and record daily life. We can't wait to get creative and share our learning together!
During the workshop, children and their families will work together to shape and design clay pots inspired by those created in Ancient Greece thousands of years ago. We will explore the patterns, symbols and stories that decorated Greek pottery and use these ideas to create our own unique designs.
This hands-on activity will help bring our historical learning to life while developing important artistic skills such as shaping, carving and decorating clay. We are excited to share our learning with our families and create some fantastic pieces of artwork together. We look forward to seeing everyone's creativity shine and making lasting memories during this special afternoon!
Remember to add this to your calendar!
