British Sculptor, Andy Goldsworthy

In art this term, we are learning about Andy Goldsworthy who is a British sculptor, photographer, and environmentalist celebrated for site-specific land art created from natural materials such as leaves, ice, stone, and wood. Known for ephemeral works documented through photography, his art explores impermanence, seasonal change, and humanity’s relationship with nature. Permanent works include Storm King Wall, Roof, and Garden of Stones. He was appointed OBE in 2000 and lives in Scotland.
We have enjoyed creating our own sculptors using different materials we have found around school!
