Halls Garden Centre. We visited Halls Garden Centre to purchase compost, lettuce seeds, spinach seeds, radish seeds, rocket seeds and a strawberry plant. When our vegetables have grown we are going to make a ‘Wedding Day Salad’ for the ‘Scarecrows Wedding’.

Welcome back!

It was wonderful to see the children on Tuesday…they were enthusiastic to share their holiday news which was delightful.

 

We are incredibly excited about the wonderful learning experiences that will take place this term. Our focus for this Spring Term is ‘Our Wonderful World’. Our Key Question is “What makes our world wonderful?” We will be exploring non-fiction texts and the incredible story books by the amazing author Julia Donaldson.

Starting School is a major milestone for you and your child. As parents, you want your children to make the best possible start to school life. We all want the same thing – a happy, confident child who enjoys going to school and loves learning. By building an effective home/school partnership, we can all achieve this aim together.

 

You and your child will be supported by Mrs Maksymczuk ,the class teacher in Reception. Mrs Youdan, Mrs Beardmore, Miss Brothwood and Mrs Haines are our Teaching Assistants. We are supported by Mrs Brennan, our Hearing Resource Base teacher and Miss Jenkins, our Hearing Resource Base Teaching Assistant.
